The Royal Hospital (Wolverhampton)

Portraying stories and meanings imbedded with in the porcelain forms through print and surface texture. This body of work focuses on the old Royal Hospital in Wolverhampton which closed in 1997 and has been left ever since. The work tries to give its viewer a sense of what the hospital was once like through print of paper ephemera, as well as illustrating the state of decay in the surface texture.
